Skeletek C28U-HD with 24" base. formally known as B28U-HD.



Heavy-duty SKELETEK C28U-HD RACK standard 19" in black color. Easy assembly required and made easier by using included self-locking serrated hex nuts. 2 sizes socket wrench tool included to assemble the rack. Overall height of 28U rack is approximately 57". The 28U-HD is made from 2 MM thick iron sheet metal and has wheelbase length of 24" with heavy duty wheels for a whopping weight handling capacity of up to 800 pounds.

The Skeletek C model is capable of handling all 19" industry standard devices like routers, switches, music, studio equipment and even servers with no depth limit when utilizing the 4 post design. See C28U-HD-30.

The new C model has bigger and wider frame, comes with 5/16" thick bolts with matching self-locking serrated hex nuts for easy assembly. It takes 4 bolts on each side of the frame attaching to the wheelbase which makes it much stronger than the B model.

Skeletek C models are modular in design. One modular frame can vertically stack upon another modular unit very easily assembled from interchangeable rigid components resulting in U sizes ranging from 16, 20 and up to 40U. Partially elliptical assembly apertures provide for perfect fitting of devices even if devices or their brackets deviate from the 19" standard to some degree. SKELETEK RACKS come standard with a wheelbase that swivels and locks for easy mobility on flat surfaces when necessary.

C model is compatible with formally known B28U-HD because it has the same frame mold but it is not compatible with other Skeletek B models. Any C model size or expansion unit can be used as expansion unit or as 4-post backend frame. When used as 4-post rack, you may install up to 40" deep servers using Skeletek 25" universal brackets.
